FreeX offers safe Motors arms and disarm protection feature to avoid accidental motor start up upon powering up. If signals from transmitter are not received upon start up, motors will never be armed for protection.
FreeX is extremely easy to setup, program and tweak should one need to tweak the parameters further to tame the Quadcopter to their flying tastes.

Two flight modes: FreeX offers 2 very beginner friendly Flight modes.

The Attitude and Altitude Hold mode: Quadcopter will hold its altitude and attitude once all the sticks are centered.

Regardless of where the QuadCopter forward section is and or even if QuadCopter is constantly spinning / in full Yaw, once the IOC is turned on, user can have full control on QuadCopter.
IOC is a great feature if pilot loses orientation and does not know what left right, forward and backward sticks will do, pilot can turn on IOC and easily control the QuadCopter.

SkyView Quadcopter with FreeX flight controller offers very precise and reliable Auto Return to home both on Demand and on failsafe.
Pilots can choose from two modes upon control signal lose (Failsafe)

DSC00289Hover at last known position: Once the control signals from Radio control are lost, QuadCopter will hold its last know position and will hover at same altitude and GPS position. It will not return to home. This is the best feature to use if you are flying in an area with tall trees or flying inside a city. If failsafe RTH activates and QuadCopter flies back to home, there is a possibility; it will crash into any building or Tree in its way back home. So users can select Hover on Last known position Failsafe on their radio control with an easy flip of Failsafe mode switch before flight. Now if control signals are lost, Failsafe will keep the QuadCopter hovering at last known signals position. Users can then walk or drive closer to get the QuadCopter back in control range and start flying again.
Auto Return to home and Land: If this mode is selected using Radio Failsafe switch before flight, once the control signals are lost, QuadCopter will fly back to home (take off position) and land. During this time, as soon as QuadCopter comes back to range, user can gain full control over quad and descend quickly, ascend again if there is something on the landing zone, and or control the quad to avoid trees, poles or buildings on the way back to home (once control signals are established)
Auto Return to home and Land on demand: Feeling tired and boring to fly back home? No problems. Users can select Return to home and activate RTH failsafe with a simple flip of a Flight mode switch and your quadcopter will fly back to home and land. During this time, users will have full control over quad to descend quickly, ascend again if there is something on the landing zone, and or control the quad to avoid trees, poles or buildings on the way back to home. Once users leave the sticks to center, Quadcopter will resume its return to home and landing.Low voltage protection
When the voltage is lower than the set voltage in FreeX parameter control software, the LEDs on the QuadCopter will blink to inform the pilots of low voltage on battery and pilots can easily fly back and land the Quadcopter before battery totally runs out of power.

Safety Protocol Algorithm
FreeX has a special SPA (Safety Protocol Algorithm) for electronics, that can prevent GPS glitches once or if the magnetometer is damaged or not working properly. Thus preventing the abnormal flight behavior, out of control drift or out of control Fly away.
